Terms

Open, as-is, informational.

Plain terms for using apeiris.ai and the Apeiris public knowledge layer. The knowledge layer is free and open; the tools are a beta aid for reasoning about AI assurance — not advice, certification, or a guarantee.

The corpus is open

Use it, cite it, build on it — CC BY 4.0.

The public knowledge layer — the 12 control domains, control identifiers, integration artifacts, and documentation — is licensed under CC BY 4.0. You may share and adapt it for any purpose, including commercial, with attribution to Apeiris Evidence Fabric — apeiris.ai. Full scope, and what the license does not cover (the brand and the platform software), is on the License page.

Provided as-is

Beta, without warranty.

We are building Apeiris in the open. The site and its tools are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis during beta, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Content may change or move as the work develops. To the extent permitted by law, Apeiris is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or corpus.

Not advice or certification

Informational tools, not a compliance verdict.

The Advisor, its maturity read and framework-coverage figures, Assess mode, and the proof composer are aids to help you reason about assurance from your own inputs. They are not legal, regulatory, or professional advice; not an audit, attestation, or certification; and not a determination that any obligation is satisfied. A framework mapping shows where a control could apply — mapped ≠ satisfied. Compliance decisions, and verifying that evidence actually holds, remain yours.

Two layers

The public knowledge layer is live; the platform is a prototype.

What is public here is the open knowledge layer plus in-browser tools over it. The Apeiris platform layer — the runtime trust engine and any hosted product — is a prototype and is not offered as a commercial service. Nothing on this site creates a service-level commitment, and no content here should be read as a claim that Apeiris proves, enforces, or guarantees an outcome for you.

Integrity & security

Verify before you trust; report issues responsibly.

Every published artifact is content-addressed by SHA-256 and pinned in a signed manifest — recompute it yourself rather than take our word. For security reports, follow our security.txt or email security@apeiris.ai; please avoid destructive or high-volume testing.
